Welcome to all of my new subscribers! This somewhat weekly newsletter has been widely shared and close to three dozen new readers have joined in just the past month! I always appreciate your help in getting news out about my books, and this free email newsletter has become the best source of keeping track of my work!
New subscribers to this email newsletter, and many old-timers here as well, may not be aware of the depth of Alaskan history articles which can be found in the archives of this newsletter. The full text of all of the articles from the entire set of 14 issues published by Alaskan History Magazine from 2019 to 2021 are included, along with many original articles and excepts from my books. There are many photographs which often did not find space in the original book or the magazine articles, and links to sources for further information.
The following photographs provide a sort of visual index sampling of this content, click on the Archives link in the top menu or do a search for the title or subject (via the tiny magnifying glass icon at the top of the Archives page) to access the individual articles. What’s shown below is roughly one-third of the total number of articles available in the archives.
My newest book, The Hope ‘91 Sled Dog Race, is now available everywhere, and I am roughly one-third finished with my next book, on an unusual topic which is near and dear to my heart. More on that in the next newsletter, in the meantime click on that Archives link above and browse through some great Alaskan history!
Happy Summer!
Helen
