I certainly do remember the Bird House! When we arrived in Alaska in the summer of 1965 we camped at the Bird Creek campground for three weeks until our military housing was available, and the Bird House Bar became a popular place with my parents and their friends. Years later I would stop in with friends while going to Alyeska or Seward.
